The JLT CAI for the 2011-14 V6 is a NO TUNE intake but also offered as a package with the SCT Tuner to add more power.

INTAKE:

INTAKE TUBE DESIGN
The JLT tube is roto molded ABS plastic to resist engine heat and keep the intake air charge nice and cool. NO METAL TUBING HERE!! With no separate MAF housing or couplers air flow is fast and smooth. The molded MAF in the tube is a full 84mm ID.

 

AUTOMATIC OWNERS
Automatic cars need an additional fitting, which we provide. All you need to do is drill a ½” hole (we show you where) in the tube, install the supplied grommet, fitting and you’re done. Note, all kits sold to resellers will include the automatic fitting.

HEAT SHIELD
Includes an ABS plastic heat shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed. 
It incorporates the fresh air inlet from the grill. 
It uses a large area to make sure the filter has tons of cool air.

FINISH OPTIONS
Standard finish is an OEM looking black textured plastic and also available in your cars exact body color. All tubes go through an in-depth process to remove all the texture, then we use only the best quality materials to give each tube a smooth gloss finish.

RED CANDY
We do NOT paint this using the standard 3 stage paint as it is very expensive and actually more likely to not match. We do use Redfire for Red Candy that matches great every time. 
RUBY RED
We do NOT paint this using the standard 3 stage paint as it is very expensive and actually more likely to not match. We do have a custom mix for RR that matches great every time.

 

Now also available in Hydrocarbon
Through an awesome process called Hydrographics, the intake tube is made to look like carbon fiber. The tube is painted and then dipped in a water solution with a carbon fiber print film that adheres to the part when removed. Tube is then clear coated for a durable finish. See picture of intake tube below and hydro carbon option in the Intake Tube Options. Please allow up to 2 weeks for hydrocarbon orders to ship.

MAINTENANCE 
To properly clean your filter, we recommend the S&B Precision II Cleaning & Oiling Kit. 
*TIP* by purchasing a 2nd air filter you can simply swap filters when it's time to clean it and not be rushed. Clean the first filter and it's ready when it's time to change again.

JLT Pre-Filters are now available for most intake kits we carry, these filters are made for us by Outerwears, these prefilters are water repellent. With each package you will have the choice of a 91 or 93 octane fuel tune..

 

GAINS AND TESTING

We have seen gains up to 20 RWHP and 22 RWTQ with our 93 octane tune. 
Warning, if you see more “claimed” by others, ask them how. Also look over the dyno sheets real good for low number baseline runs or no dyno sheets at all. Many will base line the car with 87 fuel, then add 93 fuel then the CAI and tune to show more power. We don't do that!
