Powergrid front swaybar endlinks improve performance by allowing adjustment to eliminate swaybar preload. Low-friction ends eliminate binding and allow for smooth load transitions.
Why do I need adjustable endlinks?
The OEM stock front endlinks are fixed in length. While part of a good, simple design, this lack of adjustability can be a detriment to tuning a Mustang for higher levels of performance. A stack-up of production tolerances can often lead to preloading of the front swaybar. The preloaded swaybar in turn affects the car's corner weights. Uneven diagonal corner weights will adversely affect handling by aiding cornering in one direction while hindering cornering in the opposite direction. For example, your Mustang will understeer more when turning in one direction than it does when turning the other direction.
The Powergrid endlinks let you easily adjust the length of the swaybar endlinks. Properly setting the length will improve handling by eliminating any swaybar preload.
The Powergrid endlinks are not limited to just track-driven cars. Anyone who's taken the time to upgrade even their street-driven car's suspension should consider the Powergrid endlinks. The influence of the swaybar on your Mustang's suspension is as important on the street as it is on the track.
